High selling Percheron gelding at his sale in Waverly
Not sure why we don't have a picture of this gelding but he was too special not to mention here.
Kelly had the pleasure of showing the "Highly Dude" as a weanling, yearling and in 2 yr old western pleasure. This was a big sweet gelding that I bonded quickly with. We were in the top end of all our futurities that we entered.
Highly ended up selling for over $9000 US at a sale in MN. Obviously I wasn't the only one to fall in love with him!

Lovingly known as "the wild childs"...should we say "heads up!"We never did get a good picture of this pair...General was a moving machine!!
This picture was from the early 90's. She never was mine, but I loved this little mare. This sweet little appy reiner figured out that English was fun too!
Misty proves that sometimes horses don't have to live long to leave a huge impact on your life!
Ok, she's not from our "past" because we still have her but she does have a story! Lucky was our first home raised foal out of Donalds Grace and by Windermere's Intruder. To say the very least she was HUGE! Our vet never thought she would survive but with a lot of "TLC" she did. For the first week of her life we had to milk the mare and bottle feed her, not only that her legs were so long she couldn't get up without assistance never mind stand and nurse. We helped her get up off the ground for the first 2 weeks of her life, she had the longest legs we've ever seen on a baby and absolutely no control over them! Lucky is a broodmare for us now and stands 18.2 hands!
